07. What is the Dress Code
India is a very diverse country with cultural and weather fluctuations. It is good to wear decent and comfortable clothes. It not only protects from the extremes of weather, but also protects you from mosquitoes. It is also suggested for the Volunteers (specially female volunteers ) not to wear exposing clothes, as it is not preferred in Indian culture. While going to project sites it is highly recommended that all our participants wear long trousers or pants and round neck t-shirts or shirts which will help you gain lots of respect in the communities we work.We also arranged Indian Traditional clothes for our female volunteers( SALWAR KAMEEZ) that will cost extra small charges.
